On a cool spring night in 1848, six men came together at the Jefferson College in Canonsburg, PA to form the Fraternity of Phi Gamma Delta, also known as "FIJI". These six men long enjoyed a friendship that would eventually lead to a Brotherhood. The year of 1848, thus began the great tradition and the form of excellence that Phi Gamma Delta pursues. This tradition and excellence is also bestowed upon its members.
